Once upon a time, my husband fantasized about extending the hard wood floors we have in the back of the house out to the living room, but the idea has always been a non-starter for me: no traction! Fortunately for our marriage and our dogs, Pete's and my definitions of "delightful behavior" mostly overlap, so he's never pressed the issue.
